Eatwell Farmhouse Kitchen


I love really simple tomato salad.  Last night with dinner I sliced up some tomatoes (you can use heirlooms or cherries), drizzled a little olive oil, and sprinkled a little salt and freshly ground pepper.  I took some of the chives leftover from the farmers market, chopped them fairly fine and used them to top the tomatoes.  Of course you can use the basil instead, but I actually prefer the taste of the chives. They are a milder flavor than basil so the tomatoes really shine.
