There is a race between the plums and the Pluots who will bloom first. As they are very closely related it makes very little difference but for those keeping count the pluots win. We need warn sunny days to wake up the bees. They do not have to be honey bees, we have lots of native bees on the farm too. It has been cold and windy the last few days so no sign of pollinators in action as yet. There is still time, with no rain in the forecast and no angst either.
