We start to pack the truck on Friday mornings with all the gear we need for the market. Jose and the crew pick the vegetables, wash and cool them. At 4am on Saturday morning we start the trucks and head west seventy miles to San Francisco. We arrive at 5.30am and set up our stand. It is hard work and when the customers start arriving at 7.30am its all go until 2pm when we close up shop. At 3.30 we head inside the Ferry Building for some sustenance for the drive home.
