This is quite a sight, and we are delighted that the sun has come out just time for the bees to do their stuff and pollinate this delicious crop. The trees are all self-fertile, which means that the should not need bees, but ‘should’ being the operative word. A few bees and some extra pollinating varieties mixed in the rows will never hurt. By next week we should have a good estimate on our crop.
