It looks like a street sweeper that Caltrans would own, except there are metal tunnels over the twelve rows of spinach in the bed. It is our brush hoe, and it very effectively removes the seedling weeds between the rows of spinach, lettuce, and winter greens that we plant in a bed.  We have been using this for over five years now, and it paid for itself in its first year. The crew loves it since it really does keep the weeds at bay if used frequently and with just the right moisture in the soil. We are constantly planting crops, such as spinach and kale, to ensure we have fresh veggies for your box each week. The seed it not cheap these days, but we would rather have extra beds of a crop available than not enough. These beds of spinach would love some more rain.
