These are my favorite chicken breed that we have. They are strong, lay lots of eggs and are full of life. Their one down side is that they do not respect our fences. This lady sat on top of the fence as we walked by on our usual Friday farm walk. The fence is six feet high, too high for chickens to get over, not this one! We moved all the girls onto fresh pasture about ten days ago. They do not like change even if it means new grass. Egg production dipped for a few days but now is back up.
