It was a very busy day on the farm yesterday. In spite of the forecast rain for today we picked a good amount for the pre-Thanksgiving market. Ramon and a couple of guys planted garlic and more sugar snap peas. The garlic is late but that is the way we planned it. The main planting went in the ground in October. We planted 'California Late' late on purpose to give us green garlic as late as possible in the spring. Our main crop will dry down and form bulbs in May do it would be nice to have a greener crop to harvest.
