Last Saturday morning frost was forecast so on Friday we jumped into action going through our pepper crops to harvest all that was good. They now rest in the cooler for your boxes this and next week.

On Saturday morning there was a slight breeze so no frost but even so Roberto took the mower to the peppers and made short work of the plants in a matter of minutes. He then cultivated the beds which we hope to plant with wheat this week. The pepper crop needs a rich soil so the residual fertility will be great for the wheat to follow.
