This is hard and heavy work but when you have tasted sweet potatoes grown on a loam soil like ours you would understand. They are so much better than those grown in sand. The only problem is that the harvesting machines work only in sandy soils.
We only grow enough for our Eatwell Boxes and a few leftover for the market.
This is the first week we have these beauties in our boxes.
