Last Sunday those of you who came to our tomato sauce party broke last year’s record of 2000 lbs. of tomatoes cooked. Almost 200 people worked hard from 11 a.m., with one couple still canning as night fell!
For me this is a very special event. You all arrived prepared and determined to cook. There is something so special about cooking communally. People told us stories about how their families would do this in years gone by. As I look back over the past year since we last had this event to cook our way through the quarantined tomatoes, I can say that it has been one of the hardest and best years of my life. Your support of the farm has been felt very deeply by all of us at Eatwell Farm.... Thank You… Nigel
