The salves and sugar scrubs that we make all contain calendula infused oil. We grow these flowers and now is the time to pick them. We do this twice per week and then spread them out on a table to dry to a sticky state. We then put the into jars with olive oil or bag them up and freeze them for later. The jars of oil and flowers are set out in the sun for several weeks while the calendula infuses its magic into the oil.
