We can only sow spinach, lettuce, turnips and radish when the weather is cool, this is 90F or less. Since last Wednesday we have had a nice run of cool days. Roberto saw these coming in the weather forecast and planted the seeds. These spinach are now germinating well. The truck here is to keep the surface moist so that the seedling can emerge easily. Too much water and we get a huge flush of weeds.
