A great basket or two of chicks hatched overnight. These baskets brought back memories of long ago making our harvest share baskets for Dean and Deluca. We are clearing though all our old packaging supplies in the pack house in preparation for laying more concrete and it seems Agustin found these. They were packed full of our great produce in polystyrene boxes with ice packs and shipped overnight Fedex all over the country. While we did sell many baskets it was curtailed because the profit margin for D & D was not big enough. It was a great lesson to keep it local. We were surprised that our customer database, order management and tracking was so far superior to this large corporations. Well, we do have some amazing tech savvy members who keep us at the top of our game.
