The wind was blowing fiercely on Monday, and I found that I had been creating tasks that took me outside. The poplars that Nigel planted years ago were bending and swaying, creating such a noise that if I closed my eyes and tilted my head to catch the sun’s rays, it was almost as if I was at the beach. The array of sounds from the ducks and heritage flock were close enough to that of seagulls that I was almost convinced. All that was missing was the sharp salty scent on the breeze. - Emily
