Jose and I were checking the rows for planting walnuts on Friday and a very large Hawk flew into the nest in our windbreak trees. I was surprised to see how big the Hawk was. He or she was not at all happy about us working in the area. This is the first nest on the farm, very exciting. The one problem is that these trees are scheduled to come down and be replaced by almonds later this year. In the meantime we are looking forward to another crop for the farm.
