Our beloved Ginger Rose has been carrying around with her a pedometer to track how many steps she is making. The reason is that during ovulation her physical activity doubles. So over the past ten days we have been checking to see what her normal activity is, around 20,000 steps. This morning she checked in at 40,000 for the last 24 hours. I sent a text to Jacob the vet and he will be here at 3.30pm today to do the deed. She will be artificially inseminated. The father is a pedigree bull with outstanding females in his line, a real performer! I hope I have got this all set up right. According to her records today is the day so we are confident that the readings are correct. We are currently setting up the sound system for the romantic music etc.
