The broccoli in this weeks box will include a bunch of broccoli made from side shoots. Once we cut the main head of broccoli side shoots grow . The variety we grow for mid winter harvest is Marathon. Theses side shoots are delicious. The more you cut them the more they grow so we may get another crops in three weeks or so. The plants are strong growing in fertile soil.
