Roberto has been busy planting pasture whenever the beds have become available. He spent most of Tuesday sowing more seeds. We use a mixture of two rye grasses and three clovers. I would like to add more, but as the pasture is only growing for a year there is not enough time for a complex pasture to develop. We are hoping to rent more land and extend our pasture period to two or three years. Roberto sows the seed with our vegetable seed planter as it is all we have that can do the job. It works very well and enables him to come back with the brush hoe and clean up any weeds between the rows.
