IMG_0377.JPG Jose and I pride ourselves on the fact that we rarely take the hoes out into the field. Our timing and accuracy of cultivations together with the specialty equipment that we have make this mostly unnecessary. I can say none of us like hoeing. It is a skilled job, but we all have more skilled work to do. The exceptions include garlic, onions, and leeks. We do not seem to be able to remove all the weeds in these crops so we have to go along and “clean up” once in each crop’s life.
