Although it might seem strange to be talking about this when we are at the height of summer, but later this week we are planting for our first fall harvest in October and November. Roberto and Ramon are working every day to prepare the beds with their tractors. I say “their” tractors, and I mean it. They are very possessive of their tractors and lovingly take great care of them. Now is the time for some big oil changes on the tractors. The oil flows very freely on hot summer days compared to the cold depths of winter. One change involves 19 gallons of hydraulic fluid and two large filters for each tractor.
