There were some funny sounds coming from inside the mill last week so we stopped running it. My parents came over for our wedding in late June and will be here until the end of the month. We put my Dad to work on the mill and he took it apart and cleaned it out.  The natural stones looked in great condition but they did need a clean. He put it all back together, lubed it with some food grade grease, and now we are back in business.

The mill cost just under $3,000 a couple of years ago and it has served us well. It was made by Meadows Mills In North Carolina. They have a video which tells you more about the mills.
