Some of you who attended our July 4th party had the opportunity to experience the lavender field in bloom.  Since the lavender season only lasts 3-4 weeks each year and many of you have never experienced it at the farm, we are sending a glimpse of it to you!  We will be including a lovely bunch of fresh lavender blooms in your box this week for you to enjoy.  You can use the fresh blossoms in savory and sweet cooking or hang your bunch up to dry and enjoy the wonderful fragrance for months.  If any of you have an allergy to lavender, please contact Liz in the office before noon on Tuesday.
