Our watermelon field was logged by Rei from UC Davis last week. She will be coming back four times over the life of the crop tracking native bees. Since we bought this farm in 1998 UCDavis has been involved in tracking native bees and bumble bees here. We are happy to report that we have a thriving population which is attributed to our lavender which is a bee super food.
