Unfortunately our favas are home to black aphids. They have moved in and set up home. Yesterday we saw the first ladybugs. They love to eat aphids. The ladybugs have been in the Sierras over winter skiing, sipping lattes and generally relaxing. They now have come home to feed and raise their young. Unfortunately the aphids got a head start. For our box this coming week we will be getting fava beans from Riverdog Farm.
