Farm to Table
Students from the Culinary Institute in San Francisco came for a visit this morning. They will be preparing a farm-to-table lunch and dinner next Thursday with our veggies, fruit, eggs, flour, and softers. This is the "hungry gap" time of the year between seasons, so we are anxious to see what gastronomic magic they create.
The strawberry fields are just loaded with beautiful crimson-colored berries. We are gearing up for our first Strawberry Days event this weekend! There are a few spots still open, so sign up soon. It's warming up this week, with highs in the upper 80's so make sure you bring a hat and a water bottle when you head out to the farm this weekend. Come taste a little bit of heaven right from the strawberry patch!
