Roberto has become quite an expert with our multi row seeder. There are three adjustments to sow the many crops we grow just right. Firstly the size of the hole through which the seed falls. Each seeding plate has 24 options. Then there are brushes which move the seed through the holes, these are run at different speeds. Thirdly the speed of the tractor for the final adjustment on seed spacing.
The seed fall from the metering unit down a plastic tube to the coulter. The coulter cuts a path in the soil which the seed then falls into. The roller following firms the soil around the seed.
