DSCF0222.JPG The California White pullets are beginning to lay and they should already be out on the pasture with the big girls. They are mud bound in the home pasture, meaning that it is too wet to move the trailer. So last Friday I called Jason the straw guy and he delivered 80 bales. We spread it around their house and the other younger chicks house to keep them dry.

The crazy wet weather seems like it will continue with another windy wet storm coming our way over the next few days. Hopefully we will be able to move the houses out into the field by the end of next week.
