The winter squash harvest is in, all tucked away to be included in your Eatwell Boxes this winter. The yield was not as great as in past years. We planted later to avoid the September heat when we harvested, the squash can easily get sun burnt if we are not careful or have far too many other urgent tasks to complete in a day. Our plan this year to to put the butternut squash in tour boxes after Festivus. before then we will include all the other varieties that do not keep as long as the butternut.
