Rainy Sunday Afternoon

PA170023.JPG Our first real rain of the season is going on now, but only a light sprinkle. Roberto planted 1/2 acre of seeds on Saturday so they will be enjoying the drink to wake them up into life.

The chicks are thriving in their new home under their heat lamps. They are parked next to the fast filing pond. I did not imagine it would fill so fast. I had anticipated that the bentonnite  would take longer to seal. It look like we will be at our final maximum level by the end of Monday which is 3 1/2 days from when we started filling.

I am hoping and expecting that the rain is not enough to do much damage to the tomatoes. The first ones to show any damage will be the cherries. we will keep you updated.

Have a great week... Nigel
