Yesterday we made the final preparations to the new home for the chicks. All 900 of them will arrive on Friday morning. We have repainted the house inside and out, after a thorough cleaning. Kiki installed insulation to the inside of the roof to keep them warm and cozy.
The chicks hatched on Wednesday morning, the hatchery in Iowa called me to make some changes to the order. We will be getting 475 California Whites, 400 Buff Orpingtons and 25 Brown Leghorns to try. Watch for the chick pics on Friday morning... Nigel
