Last week we went through and removed a few weeds that the cultivator had missed so the crop is looking fabulous. It was planted late due top the late spring and I am hoping that we can have a mature crop by the middle of October. We then have to harvest quickly before any rains make it too difficult. It should be fine. The variety is Diane which has a great flavor.
