Jaime has only been working with us since this spring. He is the father in law of Jose our farm foreman. Jaime cam from Detroit where he had been working in a car plant for many years. He has taken to farm life very well and appears to be enjoying his time here.  He covers for Augustin on Sundays so he can have a day off from the chickens. The rest of the week he works with the harvest crew. I have noticed that he does have an eye for detail so last week I asked if he would like to take over the vine training. This is a job that needs patience and he caught on really fast. So now when the harvest is done he can spend the other days taking care of the vines. They are being trained to their support wires this year. There are some grapes but we want the vine to put all their energy into building a good frame work on which to fruit next year.
