1. Cut the fruit in half and submerge in a bowl of cool water--you will be able to pry the seeds away from the white pith, which will float to the top of the water2. Even easier! Cut fruit in half. Hold a cut half in one hand over a bowl and thump the outside of the fruit with a wooden spoon, which will dislodge the seeds and send them flying into the bowl.
