This recipe came from CSA member Linda Pasqual. Here's what she says about it: "It’s rather decadent. I got this recipe some years ago from a longtime-neighbor who has since died. So, perhaps her recipe can live on in the homes of Eatwell subscribers!" 1 c. mashed persimmon 1 tsp. baking soda 1 beaten egg 1 c. sugar 4 Tbsp. butter (softened) 1 tsp. vanilla 1¼ c. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon ½ c. triple sec 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. raisins 1 c. chocolate chips

Mix together the persimmon, baking soda, egg, butter, and vanilla. Stir in flour and cinnamon. Add liquor alternately with nuts, raisins and chocolate chips. Pour batter into a loaf pan and bake at 350F for 1 hour (or until done). Makes 1 loaf.
