A nice crop of clover.

Clover roots host a bacteria that fixes nitrogen from the air. So by having a nice crop of clover on the floor in the orchard we are getting the benefit of the fertility it produces. It is also a sign that the weeds have given up or been out competed by the good clover. Another sign that we might be on the right track.
