Our first herb garden was planted between the rows of fruit trees. That became a pain pretty quickly. I now plant a new herb garden every few years when the weeds get the better of us. This time I have planted them just as if they were any other farm crop. We will use our cultivation tools to keep the weeds at bay.

The plants were organically grown for us by Headstart Nursery near Gilroy. They have done a great job. The herb in the picture is Hyssop. We hope to start picking some of these by mid summer.
