1 cup orange juice*1 tsp. honey 2 tsp. sesame oil 1 Tbsp. soy sauce 2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar ¼ cup water 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce (optional) 1 shallot or green garlic, chopped 2 tsp. grated fresh ginger

Cook the orange juice in a saucepan until reduced by half. Combine with honey, sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, water & hot sauce in a blender or food processor. Add shallot/green garlic and ginger & process until smooth. Store in the refrigerator.

*if you don’t have a fancy citrus juicer, have no fear: neither do I! I find that cutting an orange in half, sticking a fork into the cut half and squeezing around the fork works pretty well!
