We harvest a small crop of lemons just before the holidays which Bill Crepps from Everything Under The Sun dried for us. These lemons went to make our dried lemon salt which is great for fish dishes. The lemons in our Eatwell Box this week come from Bill Crepps. It will be a few years before we have enough of our own lemons. It takes time for the citrus to grow. If we push the trees too hard and get too much soft growth it can be easily frosted in the winter.

We will be picking the few navels we have on our won trees this week. They will go into our boxes instead of Apples from Smit Ranch. Next week the Navels will come from Terra Firma Farm in Winters.
