This is my goal, to put onions in every box each week of the year. Some may be green others bulbs.
The onions in the foreground were sown in the spring, grew this summer then for some reason were rejected. The could have sprouted, split etc. Rather than compost these we decided to plant them in the field. They are growing well and we hope to harvest them as fresh onions in January. The crew also planted onions that were sown in August in the greenhouse. These will be ready to harvest as green onions in March and then on as the bulb up in June.
Roberto is cultivating beds that grew our late summer pepper crop.
