Our main water supply in the summer comes from Lake Berryessa via the canal in front of the farm. The canal is operated by The Solano Irrigation District (SID). The water is turned of in the middle of October so the water crews turn their attention to fixing problems. We had a leak in an underground concrete pipe. The pipe was one of the originals installed in 1965. Fortunately for us it was on the side which is the responsibility of SID. They sent out a crew last week to dig it out and replace it with a brand new plastic pipe.
