These plants are stinging nettles. We planted them so that Lorraine could make a 'Stinger' Soda. We will also be putting them into out Eatwell Boxes next year. They make a great soup and yes I have tried it.
I am often asked what do we put in our Eatwell Boxes each week. My answer is what our customers have told us w that they want over all the last 13+ years. I also add that you may get all the lettuce and spinach you love but I do promise to through a curve ball every now and then. Stinging nettles are a curve ball, so watch out this coming spring.
