Jose about to make the catch to put another butternut in the trusty plastic bins we have for their winter storage. This years crop is a good one. We are in a hurry to get the crop out of the field to plant another for the winter. We must wind up the tape for use next year. We then mow the residue and any butternuts that did not make the grade. Ramon will spread compost and Roberto will cultivate the beds.
