So what do you do when our Eatwell Boxes are fully loaded with the bounty of summer produce and the plants just keep on producing. We happen to know a 'shady' character called Keith in San Francisco. Keith come to the farmers market on Saturdays while we are breaking down and takes any leftovers. He distributes them to soup kitchens and shelter's for the homeless. Last week he took away eggplant, summer squash and some tomatoes.
