A Nice Home For Our Grains

P7070004
Last week Jesse, the trucker, moved the bags of grains to our friends Chip and Rachel's Farm near Arbuckle. They grow 700 acres of Rice in Colusa County. They have a huge concrete building which is rodent proof, a very important attribute when storing grains. Our Barley and Oats need to be hulled before we can sell them. Luckily for us Chip and Rachel have a Rice huller. Hullers remove the 'hull' that surrounds the seed grain.
