Roberto is keeping on top of the weeds in our corn crop. We sowed on the heavy side as we were uncertain how good the germination would be. We will have to thin the crop to a plant every 12'' next week. I have been told that corn has to be knee high by 4th July or it will not make a crop. We will report back on how high it is then.The cornmeal will be part of our grain CSA which will start this fall. It will be open to current CSA members and our Farmers Market customers.
