Triticale: This is a hybrid of wheat and Rye. Cultivar #118 from Resource Seeds in Zamora California. It is primarily used for animal feed as it has a high protein content. We will be feeding most of this to our chickens.
Wheat: Expresso, a hard red wheat with a high protein content (12.3% in 2008) used for breads, pizza ans pancakes.
Barley: A two row variety used for beer making. A small amount can be used for chicken feed.
Oats: The variety here is Montezuma red.
