The rain stopped, the sun came out and after about a week we were able to start doing some light cultivating. These onions were the first stop for the finger weeder. Ramon and Ricardo made two passes over each bed to break up the crust made by the heavy rains in February. We did this as much to aerate the soil as to remove any weeds.
