On Monday afternoon a film crew from the History Channels 'Modern Marvels' spent a couple of hours with the chickens. They are preparing a program entitled 'The Egg'. It will air in late February 2009. They are very friendly birds so the cameraman spent a great deal of time with close ups. The girls obliged showing off their best sides and making all the right clucking sounds.
The producer had just come back from a large cage free operation in Petaluma and another extremely large caged chicken farm in Iowa. Our girls were quite a contrast to these last two places.
I have just signed and faxed the release forms to the production company on behalf of the girls. They do not have an agent, as of now.
