Our next batch of 600 chicks will arrive on January 20th. We have until then to prepare their home. Fernando cleaned out the house vacated by the last flock on Thursday. The house was first pressured washed thoroughly. He will then make any necessary repairs, while the house is drying. It will then be repainted inside.
We raise the chicks in the house that they will spend their whole laying life in. In this way there is no stress from moving them when they start to lay. Keeping chickens stress free is what it is all about.
