What do chickens like to eat, alfalfa. They strip the leaves from the stems, eventually they eat the stems and  8plant to the ground. They are kind of fussy, as you might expect. They like it about 5" to 8" tall. Roberto is here 'grooming' the next area of alfalfa for our girls.
